How to improve the positioning of your WordPress blog on Google?
There are two key points to achieve good positioning in Google.
1. Your page is well optimized for search engines
2. Many leading web sites have links to your blog (that Google is perceived as a vote of confidence in your site)
This article will try to help with the first of these points. For the second relies heavily on the importance and level that has the content you publish in your blog (which must be original, not copied) ... And of course, much depends on your ability to promotion, public relations and obtaining links. Today
by WordPress and plugin support "All in One SEO Pack" (free plugin that you can find it in the plugins directory of the WordPress.org page), it is easier to a page optimized for search engines without need to have much knowledge in web marketing (SEO).
Before reviewing the features and benefits of this powerful plugin, it is important that we review a key concept:
"Google is not looking, Google only reads."
What does this mean? Your blog may look very nice aesthetically (to human eyes) but this is of little interest to Google.
What is Google loves text and interpret simple pages (pages that have set up a title, keywords, description, alt images, etc) because it saves labor tracking and job easier.
remember that search engines are not a team of people browsing web sites and measuring their importance (this would be impossible due to the large number of websites that exist). Instead, they are automated systems (search spiders) to navigate sites and can only read, not seen.
Therefore, the great importance of the text (rather than images) from the standpoint of SEO.
started applying the first optimization improvements!
In your WordPress admin, after installing the plugin, go on the "Settings" and there in the "All in One SEO". Here you can set the title (title), description (meta description) and keywords (meta keywords) to your homepage (Home).
Then, when you enter or edit an item in your blog, you'll notice that you have additional fields to set the title, description and keywords specific to the item.
Why is it so important to set the title, description and keywords of each item?
basically for three reasons,
1. these parameters define as the announcement submit your article in the organic search results of Google (* 1). It is very important that this information accurately describes the topic of your article. So you can capture users' attention and motivate you to enter your blog to read the article.
2. if not configured, Google needs to review the extensive content of the Post to identify themes that speech (which could take more time and effort)
3. Google can make mistakes and do not identify the relevant content of the post. Is much better if you yourself (the author of the article) which is specific to your item
Note: organic search refers to ads displayed on Google's natural. Recall that there are sponsored ads, where you have to pay for position there.
Note: your listing in search results is your ability to sell before the public, so you must distinguish yourself in front of the rest of the sites listed on the result. For this there are recommendations as to the number of characters that must have the Title, Description and keywords. This info is not required to investigate it, it gives you the plugin.
Another important point in optimizing your website is your upload speed. If Google sees your site is slow, this will negatively affect your position, since Google will not want your users to experience a bad experience when they enter your site.
This does not mean you should buy a dedicated server hosting exclusive to host your blog, which would dearly. But if there are alternatives to Web Hosting, affordable, shared server where your site only a very select group of sites within a much more controlled environment. There you will have much better performance and stability of service in a shared hosting (shared) standard.
Here
